Wine is celebratory, can be used to say “thank you,” and is a complement to any meal. A visit to Elk Run offers the opportunity to experience the sumptuous flavors of Maryland.  Come and join us at the winery, tour the facility, and observe first hand the crush and fermentation process that produce a variety of flavors. Wine tasting is a great deal of fun and can be an adventure for a group of friends or colleagues.

If you have a visitor from out of town, send them home with a bottle of wine from Elk Run, your local vineyard. Elk Run offers a variety of wines and boasts a gift shop with paraphernalia ranging from t-shirts to corkscrews. There is something in our shop for everyone.

Gift Cards are also available. These can be purchased in any denomination and be redeemed for wine, gifts, and events at the winery. Call to purchase and we can send it to your loved ones for you. 410-775-2513

Tasting Program and Picnicking

Spring and Summer picnic tables are available.  For groups of 10 or more reservations for renting space is required. (See rental facility)

Tours - Free Presented at 1:00 and 3:00, other times by appointment or when there is a free tasting attendant.

$5.00 to taste 6 featured wines of the day.

$8.00 to taste 6 wines from our entire list including reserve wines.

A commemorative glass can be added for $4.00

Groups of ten $8.00 tasting fee required (please call ahead)

Individual Sampling Presentation in the winery amongst the barrels or tasting room looking over the vineyard by our wine educators with bread and cheese and a glass of wine by appointment- $50.00 a person

Off Site Tasting - $150 plus the cost of wine
