Elk Run announces their winter wine education classes. Our emphasis this season is to assist those who are interested in wine to develop an understanding of and be able to identify eight well-known grape varietals. By the conclusion of these classes one should be able to identify the best-known varietals in a blind tasting.  Upon completion of four of the classes, a student will receive a certificate as a certified Elk Run Wine Scholar. You will receive a $20 gift card and a star of recognition, which will be exhibited on our “wall of fame” in the tasting room. Events marked with an asterisk are for the certificate program. Classes are offered on Saturday night and some on Sunday afternoons. Our class presentation team includes, Wine Maker Fred Wilson, Our Certified Wine Educator Bob Cecil, Assistant Wine Maker Neill Bassford and Marketing Director Carol Wilson.
